Here's a bit more background information on the blog team we've assembled for annual conference:

CHRIS GENT is the manager of corporate communications for Kissimmee Utility Authority. He has been a member of FPRA since 1994 and currently serves as FPRA’s statewide vice president of communications. Chris has served five years on the FPRA State Board and three years on the Executive Committee. He is past president of the Orlando Area Chapter and winner of both the Doris Fleischman Award and the Dick Pope Grand All Golden Image Award.

JOSH HALLETT is owner of Hyku, LLC, a social media consulting firm based in Winter Haven, FL. Josh has been a member of FPRA since 1996, and has always been advocate of technology's role in public relations. This included developing the first statewide Web site for FPRA in 1996 and FPRA Blog week in 2006. Josh is currently a member of the Orlando Area Chapter and blogs frequently about the impact of social media on public relations and traditional media.

BOB O'MALLEY, APR is the managing director of the newly-formed Orlando office of Ron Sachs Communications. Bob will serve on the 2006-07 FPRA State Board and Executive Committee as vice president of communications. He also is a past president of the Orlando Area Chapter of FPRA and the co-creator of FPRA Blog Week.

JENNIFER WAKEFIELD has been involved with FPRA since she was a student member at the University of West Florida in 2000. She now serves as the vice president of publications for the Orlando Area Chapter. In her day job, Jennifer is the director of public relations at the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission.
