FPRA Annual Conference: Member of the Year

As part of tonight's Golden Image Awards ceremony, three individual awards were given. The first award was the 2007 Member of the Year Award.
This award is intended to recognize one member who has made a significant contribution to the Association through outstanding leadership, demonstrated enthusiasm, extraordinary involvement and loyal support. The recipient is selected by the FPRA State President.
Drum roll, please... the 2007 FPRA Member of the Year is:
Erin McLeod

Wow - all I can say is, Wow! As if it wasn't enough to have worked so closely with so many colleagues from around the state to plan and implement Annual Conference...to receive such an honor as Member of the Year! I am humbled to join the ranks of such outstanding PR leaders. Truly. Wow!

Congratulations, Erin! Your spirit and your enthusiasm for FPRA have inspired more people than you can possibly imagine (especially as humility is one of the most endearing aspects of your nature). Many thanks for all you've given us throughout the years, including all the work you put in and the great team you pulled together to create such a wonderful conference. Thanks, too, to Jessica for honoring you with this award, giving us this opportunity to tell you how much we cherish you as a friend and colleague.

Everyone at the Central West Coast Chapter is not surprised that Erin was honored as Member of the Year.

This woman is amazing - I think there is some bionic metamorphic fusion evident here - Wonder Woman, the Energizer Bunny and Super Mom rolled into one. She is always upbeat, can't say "no," volunteers at the drop of a hat (volunteers to supply the hat!); she entertains graciously, cooks like a pro, takes guitar lessons, makes beautiful pottery to "relax," inspires those who work with her, etc. 'Nuff said? We love Erin and are happy to share her with the state, the world, the universe. She epitomizes the perfect FPRA professional in every way. Central West Coast chapter has been truly blessed by her special presence.

Erin is a true inspiration and wonderful leader. She deserves this award with all its meaning. She is true hero and we, at the Central West Coast Chapter are so proud to have her as our friend, cheerleader and mentor.
