30 Days of Blogging

The Central West Coast Chapter of FPRA today kicks off a social media initiative – 30 Days of Blogging. They’re doing this to improve their SEO through rich, changing content and to spotlight the diversity of our profession.

The chapter has asked a group of 30 PR professionals and affiliate members of FPRA to provide them with a snapshot of a day in their professional life. The results have been pretty interesting.

They have posts ranging from the VP of global communications for the nation's leading financial institution to a stay-at-home Mom PR consultant. They have a post from a PR director of a statewide real estate firm on the day he took a new job to run a national PR agency, and one from a woman who just completed her 90 days of probation at an agency and was officially hired as its PR coordinator. They also have posts from both for-profit and non-profit agencies as well as government.

Their social media initiative begins today and concludes on August 10 – and they still have a couple of spots open. If you are interested in participating, contact Suzanne Dameron at Suzanne@aspirepr.biz. Check it out – cwcfprablog.typepad.com.

The 30 Days of Blogging project is proving that no day is typical in the PR world.
